Job Responsibilities

As an industrial electrician, you will work with the maintenance organization and your colleagues to prioritize the maintenance needed within the factory and ensure that agreed actions are carried out. The main tasks involve troubleshooting, problem-solving, installation, and repairs, as well as preventive maintenance on production equipment in the areas of electricity, automation, and control equipment.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Working with preventive and corrective maintenance cost-effectively
  • Ensuring we have a safe and operational facility
  • Assisting with electrical issues regarding machinery, methods, and work processes
  • Knowledge of basic PLC programming & troubleshooting is desirable, which involves performing some programming in frequency converters / PLC
  • Ensuring that corrective and preventive maintenance activities are carried out according to plan.
  • Planning your own work and coordinating with others in the organization to take action.
  • Working to ensure preventive maintenance is performed in a qualitative, cost-effective, and availability-enhancing manner
  • Contributing to maintaining a safe working environment according to applicable laws and regulations.
  • Ensuring that work in the technical facility is carried out safely in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, directives, and instructions.
  • Initiating the need for purchasing spare parts, project, and consumable materials, as well as writing purchase requests in the maintenance system ONE (SAP).
  • Designing, dimensioning, manufacturing, and installing electrical equipment.

Experience

You should have at least an electrical education at the high school level with a focus on industry, automation, control, and regulation technology, or an electrician or other background deemed equivalent. You should have knowledge of electrical schematic reading, PLC systems, pneumatics, and electromechanical equipment. Experience working as an industrial electrician in production, preferably in food production, is an advantage. Knowledge and experience of SAP are also advantageous.
